Georgia Online Driver Education Course

Are you a first-time driver looking to apply for your Georgia Driver's License? If so, we're here to help! Our program meets the Joshua's Law Driver Education Requirements.

What’s the purpose of this course?

In Georgia, if you are between the ages of 15 and 18 years old, you must satisfy the Graduated Driver’s Licensing Process before being able to obtain your Full Class C Driver’s License. This graduated Driver's License Program is called the Teenage and Adult Driver Responsibility Act (TADRA) and has three separate classifications: Instructional Permit (Class CP), Provisional License (Class D), and Full License (Class C).

As you complete the requirements of your current permit or license, you are allowed to graduate to a less restrictive license and eventually receive a full unrestricted license.

At the age of 15, you can begin the Instructional Permit (Class CP) process. Once you have completed all of the necessary requirements, including taking and passing the Knowledge Exam and Vision Exam, you have earned your Instructional/Learner’s Permit.

When do I need to take this course?

Before being able to move on to Phase 2, the Provisional License (Class D), certain requirements must be met, including completing the Joshua’s Law Requirements. That’s where we can help!

There are 4 different methods that you can choose from to satisfy the Joshua’s Law Requirements. All of which include completing a Driver’s Education Course through an approved Driver Training School.

Our Online Georgia Driver’s Education Course is approved by the by the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) (Program Certification No.: LDT 372). Our program is equivalent to taking a Driver’s Education Course with a traditional “brick and mortar” driving school and will help you satisfy Joshua’s Law.

Upon successful completion of our Online Driver’s Education Course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate will be required when applying for your Class D Provisional License.

Additional information on the Instructional Permit (Class CP) and Provisional License (Class D) can be found below. Additional information on the Joshua’s Law Requirements can be found on the “Joshua’s Law” page.
